Automation
Version 3.3 (latest)Trade Big Move Algo signals on autopilot: TradingView alerts fire on candle close and your automation platform places the orders on your broker or exchange. Setup takes about 10 minutes.
Create 3 TradingView alerts — Long, Short and Exit (first in a row only) — all set to Once Per Bar Close. That's the whole recommended setup.
Set your account to One-Way / Netting mode (one position per symbol). Hedge mode can leave a Long and a Short open at the same time.
Four alerts, generated on bar close
Each alert fires only when its condition occurs on a closed candle — never mid-bar.
Fires when a candle closes with a "Long" label.
Fires when a candle closes with a "Short" label.
Fires only the first time an exit condition appears in a consecutive series — prevents repeated close orders.
Fires on every exit condition — useful for monitoring and logs, not for placing orders.
Set up your account and chart
Recommended: One-Way / Netting — one position per symbol.
Avoid for most users: Hedge mode — Long and Short can exist at the same time.
If your exchange or broker has a "Position Mode" setting, set it to One-Way / Netting.
Open TradingView and pick your market — BTCUSDT, EURUSD, any symbol.
Pick the timeframe you tested — 5m, 15m, 1h.
Add Big Move Algo Version 3 to the chart.
Set your indicator inputs — and keep them consistent from now on.

The most compatible configuration
One-Way / Netting mode
"Flip on opposite signal" enabled, if available
Exit Signal (first in a row only) for closing trades
Once Per Bar Close on every alert
Consistent position sizing — fixed size or risk-based
Paper test first — use TradingView paper trading or a demo account before real funds.
Long Signal arrives → bot opens a Long.
Exit Signal arrives → bot closes the position.
Short Signal while Long is open → bot flips: close Long, open Short.
Exit alerts don’t repeat — "first in a row only" is doing its job.
Common problems, fast fixes
Cause: Hedge mode is enabled. Fix: switch to One-Way / Netting, or configure the bot to close the opposite side on entry.
Fix: use Exit Signal (first in a row only) — never the "every" variant — for placing orders.
Fix: check the symbol mapping (TradingView ticker vs exchange symbol), the webhook URL, and the exact message format.
Three alerts: Long Signal, Short Signal, Exit Signal (first in a row only) — all Once Per Bar Close.
